Quick update on progress

Here's a quick update from today's appointment...


First, know that Christian is making good progress in terms of treatment.  There is a small aggregate reduction in the tumors size similar to last time, which is great news.  With this type of disease, we weren't necessarily expecting excessive shrinkage, but it is possible.  The hope is that they become inactive (dead) in place if they don't disappear.

Second, his body is holding up very strong!  The nuclear heart scan he had on Monday came back the exact same as the baseline, which is great news!  We need his body to remain strong to accept the treatment.

Third, he is doing remarkable in managing the very few side effects he's experiencing.  With the exception of being out of commission a couple days following treatment, he's pretty normal.  His appetite is great and he's even gaining a little weight back.
